Heleen Kist - Managing Director

Prior to setting up Skillcast Ltd in 2001, Heleen was a venture capitalist a small London based internet incubator and became chief executive of iowatch Ltd, a telecommunications software start-up.


Heleen brings to the table substantial blue chip and international experience. She has a track record of resolving board level issues as engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, working in the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, Sweden, Italy and France.


She also has an understanding of product development and marketing best practice launching new dishwashing products for Europe and Eastern Europe at Procter & Gamble in Brussels.


Heleen has a MS in Chemistry from Leiden University in the Netherlands and an MS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, where she acquired skills in defining strategies and policies through decision analysis and investment science, configuring organisational structures and solving financial and operational problems associated with the technology-based economy.


While at Stanford, she co-founded the Stanford technology Ventures Program, accelerating entrepreneurship education among engineers, and co-wrote ”The Characteristics of the Entrepreneur“ (with T. Byers and R. Sutton), Technology Management Handbook, ed. C. Dorff, CRC Press 1998.


Professional qualifications: certificates in Corporate Finance and Investment Management; CORE accredited mediator

Louise Gale - Associate


Louise Gale has over 10 years experience in the public sector working for town and borough councils and holds an MBA from the University of Brighton. 


Louise's key strength lies in developing and analysing systems and processes and generating appropriate risk strategies.
